# Posting cadence (/docs/brands/settings/posting-cadence)

Set per-platform posting quotas — a weekly minimum and a daily maximum — choose which platforms are scored, and understand what saving does to past weeks.

Posting cadence sets how often you expect creators to post on each platform. Bloss checks every creator against these rules once a day and shows the result on [Posting compliance](/docs/brands/insights/posting-compliance). Configure it in <UiPath>Settings › Rules › Posting cadence</UiPath>.

<Callout title="Cadence flags, it doesn't change pay">

  Posting cadence only produces <Term id="compliance">compliance</Term> flags.
  It never blocks, removes or changes a creator's payouts.

## The rules [#the-rules]

The card has one row per platform:

| Column           | Meaning                                                                                                                    |
| ---------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Platform** | Instagram, TikTok, YouTube or Facebook, with how many creators have that account connected. |
| **Min per week** | Posts a creator should make on this platform each week. **0** means **No weekly minimum**. |
| **Max per day** | The most posts per day on this platform before it counts as over-posting. Must be at least 1. |
| **Scored** | Whether this platform is checked at all. A platform that's off shows **Not scored**, and creators are never flagged on it. |

Weeks run **Sunday to Saturday** in your brand's [timezone](/docs/brands/settings/timezone).

Turning a platform off keeps its numbers, so turning it back on restores them. To stop scoring a platform, switch **Scored** off rather than setting its daily maximum to 0.

## Change the rules [#change-the-rules]

<Steps>
<Step>

### Edit the numbers [#edit-the-numbers]

Change **Min per week**, **Max per day** or **Scored** for any platform. Changed fields are highlighted. **Reset** discards your edits.

</Step>
<Step>

### Save [#save]

Click **Save changes**. Bloss re-scores every creator straight away and tells you how many flags were added or no longer apply.

</Step>
</Steps>

Bloss warns you about rules that can't work, for example a weekly minimum higher than seven times the daily maximum.

## Stricter rules apply to past weeks [#stricter-rules-apply-to-past-weeks]

Compliance is recalculated from scratch every time it's scored, so past weeks follow whatever the rules say today. If you raise a weekly minimum, lower a daily maximum or start scoring a platform, Bloss asks **Apply stricter rules to past weeks?** and lists each change. Some creators may newly appear as behind or over-posting. Click **Save and re-score** to go ahead.
