# Quickstart for coaches (/docs/get-started/quickstart-coaches)

Apply to coach on Bloss, get approved, invite your students and keep them accountable.

Coaches help creators improve. Once you're approved, you can invite students and see how they perform across every brand they work with on Bloss. Coaching is by application: the Bloss team reviews every coach before they can invite students.

### Apply [#apply]

Sign in (or [create an account](/docs/get-started/your-account)), then click **Apply to be a Coach** in the main sidebar. The application asks for your display name, a bio, your years of experience, your specialties and niches, and optionally your Instagram and TikTok handles and a portfolio link.

### Wait for approval [#wait-for-approval]

While the Bloss team reviews your application, the sidebar shows **Coach Application** with an **In review** badge, and you can check **Application status** at any time. If your application needs changes, you see the reason and can edit and resubmit it.

### Invite students [#invite-students]

Once you're approved, the sidebar shows **Coach Dashboard**. On your dashboard, click **Invite student**. You can:

- **Email** a student a direct invitation, with an optional personal note.
- Create a **Share link** to post in your Discord, community or DMs.

### Keep students accountable [#keep-students-accountable]

Open **Accountability** in the coach sidebar. Bloss flags students who match any of these rules, each with a threshold you can change or switch off:

| Rule                       | Flags a student when…                                                                                           |
| -------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **No recent activity**     | They haven't posted for a brand on any platform for a number of days.                                           |
| **Cadence below quota**    | They posted fewer brand posts than your quota in the last 7 days.                                               |
| **Engagement below floor** | Their best engagement rate over the last 30 days is below your floor.                                           |
| **Views trending down**    | Their brand-post views in the last 7 days dropped by more than your percentage compared with the 7 days before. |
