Timezone
Set your brand's timezone and see what it changes — cycle boundaries, posting compliance weeks, daily figures and displayed dates.
Brand admins
Your brand timezone decides where each day starts and ends for everything date-based in Bloss. It's the first section of SettingsRulesTimezone. The default is UTC.
Open Settings › RulesChange the timezone
- Under Brand Timezone, pick a zone, for example Eastern Time (ET) or London (GMT/BST).
- Click Save Timezone.
The list covers 23 common zones, from UTC (±00:00) to New Zealand (NZST +12:00).
What it changes
| Area | Effect |
|---|---|
| Payout cycles | Cycle start and end dates are whole days in this timezone. A set joins the cycle that contains the day of its first post here. |
| Auto-recurring cycles | New cycles are laid out in whole days in this timezone. |
| Posting compliance | Weeks run Sunday to Saturday, and "per day" limits are counted per day, in this timezone. |
| Analytics and the API | Daily figures are grouped by days in this timezone. |
| Displayed dates | Cycle dates, payout dates and most other dates in the admin console are shown in this timezone. |
| Campaign deadline | The base pay deadline is a calendar day in this timezone. |
What it doesn't change
- Existing cycles keep their dates. Changing the timezone affects future cycle boundaries and compliance checks. Stored dates are unaffected.
- Video timestamps don't move. Bloss stores the exact time each post went up. Only how it's grouped into days and displayed changes.
Pick it before your first cycle
Set the timezone before you create cycles, so every cycle's days line up with how your team and creators think about them.
